Applications are now being accepted for members interested in taking part in the NEA Women’s Leadership Training Program, Campaigning to Win (CTW). The training will be offered Nov. 15-18, 2007.

Applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, September 14. Fifty participants will be selected, based on criteria developed by the NEA Women’s Issues Committee, and notified during the week of October 8.
CTW provides members with a better understanding of the election process for key association positions at the local, state and national levels. Training focuses on electing candidates who are responsive to association issues, especially women’s concerns.

The program is open to all association members. However, persons who are announced candidates for local, state or national association office during the NEA’s 2007-08 fiscal year (September 1, 2007-August 31, 2008) will not be eligible to participate.
