Think Summer! Imagine three days and three nights of intense skills training, networking, picnics in the park, and Summer Academy excitement. Mark your calendar and reserve Sunday, July 30, through Wednesday, August 2, to attend the 2006 WEAC Summer Academy, hosted at the Radisson Paper Valley hotel in Appleton.

The Academy will offer training to meet WEAC’s three objectives: Collective Bargaining, Representation and Member Engagement; Quality Teachers, Staff and Schools; and Public Involvement.

Courses will provide in-depth training to develop member skills and expertise. In the spirit of unity and collective action, we encourage locals to attend in teams. Four team members may register for the price of three.

Watch for online registration and the print brochure available in early May. Early registration rates and team rates will be available through June 16. The Summer Academy fills quickly, so register early.
