School employees involved in tracking student enrollment can access online resources to help them implement new data systems. The Department of Public Instruction has made training and support materials available online to help with implementing:

• The Wisconsin Student Number Locator System (WSLS), an application that assigns a unique student ID to students and tracks where a student is enrolled.
• The Individual Student Enrollment System (ISES), a point-in-time collection that uses the unique student number to collect enrollment status including exit and withdrawal information and high school completion credentials, attendance and demographic data.
