In the fall of 2002, WEAC's award-winning Great Schools television commercial called "Someday" aired in all media markets throughout the state. The television ad features four Wisconsin public high school students and is titled, "Someday."
"Someday,” says one high school student, “I’ll save the life of someone you love.” She is a future firefighter.
“Someday,” says another student labeled as a future construction worker, “I'll build you a home where you can raise your family. “
“Someday,” says a third student identified as a future doctor, “I'll give you hope when things seem hopeless.”
And, “Someday,” says a future teacher, “I'll help your kids or grandkids prepare for their future.”
“Someday we'll be there for you,” she adds. “But today, we need you to be there for us. Support candidates who believe that every kid deserves a great school!”
You can view the ad online with software that plays MOV files, like the free Apple Quicktime Viewer. The file size is 2.12 MB, and will display best with high-speed Internet access.
