| FEA General Membership Meeting November 28, 2007 Call to Order: 4:30pm by President Sue Mischler Welcome – Sue M. Budget Report – Sandy J. Checking: $30,947.07 CD: $7,522.53 Money Market: $12,971.95 Explanation of Agreement Between District & FEA – Richard G. Richard explained some history of how we came to look at the Trust Preferred plan and why the Negotiations Committee felt they should present it to the members as an option. (Basically felt it was a better plan at a lower cost to members.) Questions and answers followed Richard’s explanation. Balloting took place before/during/after the meeting. (The Memorandum of Understanding to switch health care plans from the WEA Trust POS to the WEA Trust Preferred was approved with a vote of 116-34.) MOTION – Paula D.. (seconded by Abbe Z.) moved to approve the minutes. PASSED MOTION – Andy M. (seconded by Mary Jo C.) moves to adjourn. PASSED Adjournment: 5:34pm |
