'Wisconsin Way' focuses on the future
WEAC is part of a new coalition focusing public attention on meeting the future needs of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Way is a grassroots project that pulls together the support and resources of a wide variety of interests to find ways to build a stronger Wisconsin economy that can better support public services, including education. Coalition partners include the Wisconsin Counties Association, the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association and the Wisconsin Realtors Association. http://www.weac.org/WisconsinWay
Members should be 'computer savvy'
After years of working on cases related to computer use in the workplace, WEAC Legal Counsel Jina Jonen has one basic piece of advice for members: Assume that your employer will view everything that you write, read or even just look at on your school or work computer.
"WEAC negotiations specialist Greg Spring and I conduct trainings throughout the state, and people repeatedly tell us they had no idea that their employers could monitor their computer activities," she said. http://www.weac.org/News/2007-08/sept07/computers.htm
