This is an exciting year for participants at the WEAC Summer Conference. The new surroundings at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus reflect the changing environment of education. New attitudes. New perspectives. A new enthusiasm. The 1998 Summer Conference participants will examine many of the changes they face in education today from incorporating computers into the classroom to implementing new collective bargaining strategies to overcoming the impact of revenue controls. It all begins at 5:30 tonight with the General Session in the tent outside of Drake Hall.
Leading off the 1998 Summer Conference is this 10-piece band, which plays a mix of rock and soul. Youll enjoy dancing or listening to these local musicians who are well-known for their Oktoberfest performances.
