An Evening in Downtown Madison Thursday, October 26, 2006, 5:30-7:30pm
The Madison Children's Museum, The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, The Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center and The Wisconsin Historical Museum invite WEAC members to an evening open house where they will be able to visit all four fabulous locations in one evening. Educators will start their evening off at Monona Terrace with a tour and heavy hors d'ouevres. Shuttle bus transportation will then take you to the top end of State Street where you will be able to visit Madison Children's Museum, The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and the Wisconsin Historical Museum at your leisure. Stop in and take a tour at the Madison Children's Museum, explore the new galleries at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and visit the Wisconsin Historical Museum's new exhibit Toy Stories. This is a pre-registered event and shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from the WEAC Convention.
