Student WEA

In recognizing Student WEA chapters, WEAC Vice President Terry Meyer said:

Tonight we also recognize some young men and women of whom we are especially proud. They are members of the Student WEA organization, a group that continues to grow and win awards. They are known throughout the country for their outstanding programs and leadership. We are all very proud of their continuing accomplishments.

Our student chapters won three prestigious NEA awards this year.

• The 2004 NEA Student Outstanding Local Chapter awards go to UW- Milwaukee and UW- Stevens Point.
• The 2004 NEA Student Outstanding CLASS Grant goes to UW- Milwaukee.

Congratulations to the Student WEA for their continued accomplishments.
