Presidential Award Winners: Mathematics: Jeremy Kessenich, Mount Horeb. Science: David Kreutz, Burlington

NEA Student Program Recognition Awards: 2004 Outstanding Chapter Excellence: UW-Stevens Point and UW-Milwaukee; Outstanding CLASS Project: UW-Milwaukee.

School Bell Awards: David Wiegand, advisor, Warrior’s Word, Wausau West High School; Linda Barrington, advisor, Cardinal News, Wauwatosa East High School; Joanne Williams, WITI-Fox 6, Milwaukee; Anne Paape, WKBT-TV, La Crosse-Eau Claire; Adam Kirby, Watertown Daily Times.
