WEA Trust consultations
WEA Trust Consultations - WEA Trust representatives will be available
to consult with you, your bargaining team, or a small group on a variety
of issues including insurance related bargaining proposals, saving for
retirement (TSAs), and individual member benefits (home, auto, umbrella
insurance and IRAs). Sign up at registration.
Confirmation
Confirmation packets will be mailed approximately two weeks before the
conference.
Hotel
Summer Academy will be held at the Ho Chunk Convention Center in Wisconsin
Dells. WEAC will make hotel reservations for registered participants.
Please do not call the hotel to make your own
reservation. Hotel check in begins 3:00 pm on Sunday, July
27.
PDA ESP Credits and DPI Hours
Credits and clock hours will be available for some sessions. Call 800-362-8034,
ext. 301 for more information.
Child care
Hotel child care facilities are $6/hour (not covered by WEAC).
Non-member guests
Due to space limitations, WEAC is unable to accommodate non-member guests
at this time.
Fitness center
Ho-Chunk has an off-site community center pool (1 mile from hotel)
that guests can use for an additional daily fee.
Recreation
Opportunities to sign up for reduced-fee activities will be available.
Check your confirmation packets and at the WEAC registration desk for
more info.
Scholarships
Applications are available for members scheduled to work at school district
jobs during Academy dates. Contact Kim
Wiemer at 1-800-362-8034 x 301 to apply.
